Interrupting your work day to stare at a fresh barn find that's been hanging up for the last 30 years: 1990 Mongoose IBOC Signature, made by Merlin, in a run of 500, according to a review in Mountain & City Biking magazine from April 1990. Titanium front triangle, steel rear, joined at the monostay and chainstays.

XT M730 intact except for the brakes. Protective film still tight on the thumbie shifters. Interesting anodized hyperlite bar, early Kostrikin unicrown fork and stem, wildly rare. Attic dust included, has not been wiped down yet.

Specialized cages, IBOC saddle dated 12/89 and mint SR post dated '89. Tires would've been Tioga Mud Dawg, not yellow label Ground Controls.
